What is Edelweiss? Edelweiss (eyd-l-vahys) is a scarce short-lived flower found in remote, high altitudes of the Swiss Alps with strong natural level of UV protection and high levels of Leontopodic Acids A and B for remarkable anti-inflammatory properties. Folklore states that love struck young men would try to endear themselves by collecting Edelweiss from hard to access peaks in the Alps as a promise of dedication.
